Second Chances Lyrics

I guess I never thought about how
I would feel when I grew up
I guess I always tried to doubt it
It never seemed to make much senseI try not to dwell upon it
But I guess my time is spent
I try not to dwell upon it
Or how much it meantLike rain that falls from the sky
Time seems to flood my life
Like rain that falls from the sky
Time seems to flood my eyesI'll try and grab it and wrestle it to the ground
And it's always, it's always out of reach, it's always lost
And never found, I've only got one chance
Will I ever have a second chance? There goes today, what about tomorrow?
Conformity, I'll never swallow
The world today full of pain and sorrow
Apathy, I'll never followCan we return to the golden age?
To the goals we set and the promises we made?
Do you recall when we were friends?

Just you and me to the very endCan we return to the golden age?
To the goals we set and to the promises made
Can we return to the golden age?
Second chances, second chances, second chances

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Stretch Arm Strong was a hardcore-influenced punk rock band from South Carolina, U.S.A. that were the flagship band for We Put Out Records. They're perhaps best known for their 2005 tune "The Sound of Names Dropping" as well as their tongue-in-cheek cover of the dance tune "Get This Party Started", released in 2002. Formed by former members of Strait Up, were active from about 1992 to about 2010. Several of the band members were outspoken Christians, but they prefer not to be classified as a 'christian rock' act.
