Seconds Lyrics

I need a second just to catch my breath
I need a second wind to blow my wad
I'll play the second fiddle second best, ohShang lang lang langThat second coming is a second guess
Won't need a second hand there on my watch
My second nature takes a second to kick in ohShang lang lang langShang lang lang lang(Soon very soon)
It's a common sensation
(Soon very soon)I need some second sight to see this through
You know that second rate it just won't do
I'll make a second strike a looking out a second story roomAnd then at second thought I might get bored
Of playing soldier in the Second World War
Second generation from the secondhand storeShang lang lang langShang lang lang langShang lang lang lang(Soon very soon)
It's a common sensation
(Soon very soon)
A like the fate a the nation
(Soon very soon)
Well such a common sensationI need a second just to catch my breath
I need a second wind to blow my wad
I'll play the second fiddle second best, ohShang lang lang langShang lang lang langShang lang lang lang(Soon very soon)

It's a common sensation
(Soon very soon)
A like the fate a the nation
(Soon very soon)
Well such a common sensation
(Soon very soon)
Well like the fate a the nation(Soon very soon)
Such a common sensation
(Soon very soon)
Well like the fate a the nation
(Soon very soon, soon very soon, very soon)

Grant Lee Buffalo is a Los Angeles-based rock band, consisting of Grant-Lee Phillips (vocals and guitar), Paul Kimble (bass) and Joey Peters (drums). All three were previously members of another LA band, Shiva Burlesque. As GLB, they released four albums: Fuzzy (1993), Mighty Joe Moon (1994), Copperopolis (1996) and Jubilee (1998, without Kimble who had left the band the previous year). After the release of Jubilee, the band broke up and Phillips continued to pursue a successful solo career. In 2010 the band reunited and they will be touring again in 2011.
