Seeker Lyrics

Give me songs that I know how to sing and
Give me words I can speak
Give me religion that I might believe in
Show me life's mysteriesI lift my eyes to the sea and beyond that
Which I can understand
Show me your heart that I believe in some miracles
But I don't know where to startAnd the truth is I'm a seeker and I don't wanna live in vain
If God is looking down from a rainbow 2000 years may go
And everything will be the same
If God is looking down with a pale face from up in his high place
Playing his favorite game
Then I know I'll be living in vain, I will live in vain
When I ask you don't give what I'm asking
And when I search I can't find
I don't know where to fit in and where I can find my place
And I've never seen your faceI lift my eyes to the sea and beyond that
Which I can understand
Show me your heart that I believe in some miracles

But I don't know where to startAnd the truth is we're all seekers and we don't wanna live in vain
If God is looking down from a rainbow 2000 years may go
And everything will be the same
If God is looking down with a pale face from up in his high place
Playing his favorite game
Then I know I'll be living in vain, I don't wanna live in vain
I don't, I don't, I don't wanna live in vainIf God is looking down
Just playing his favorite game
If God is looking down from a rainbow 2000 years may go
And everything will be the same
If God is looking down with a pale face from up in his high place
I know I'll be living in vain, I will live in vain

Matt (28), Joe (26), Esra (24), and Simri-Ramon (20) grew up in a family of nine in Basle. "Our mother encouraged us to sing from a very early age," explains Joe. Ever since they were tiny, they have been making music together. Initially, they performed in nursing homes, hospitals, and at private events. Then came an event that changed their lives: in 2001, the Buchli family moved to Australia for two years, setting up home at 77 Bombay Street in Adelaide. On their return to Switzerland, the four decided that they didn't want to live in the city any more.
