Seesaw Lyrics

Wanna make my eyes shut
But I've just came in half cut
And I know I won't sleep tonight
I just wanna call you up
But tonight I really fucked it up
Cause I can't ever do things right
Tonight we're sat on the seesaw, watching me fall
Down
We are not equal
What I did was evil
Heating in the playground
We're on the seesaw but I'm the one to fall
Keep going down down
We're on the seesaw but I'm the one to fall
Keep going down down down

Alone
Next morning I wake up
Eyes still caked in make up
I can't believe I said those things to you
Baby, I didn't mean to but it's pointless trying to prove to ya
It's only something alcohol may do
Tonight we're sat on the seesaw watching me fall down
We are not equal what I did was evil, cheating in the playground
We're on the seesaw but I'm the one to fall
Keep going down down down
We're on the seesaw but I'm the one to fall
Keep going down down down
Nd now you watch me turn around
Just as you turn around I can see your body frown
No need for me to drown
Head is spinning out like a merry go round
But this love is not a playground
We're on the seesaw but I'm the one to fall
I keep going down down down down
We're on the seesaw but I'm the one to fall
I keep going down down down down
Down down down I'm falling
Down down down I'm falling
Falling down

Groundation is a Fusion-Reggae band based in Sonoma County, California. It was established in 1998 by Harrison Stafford, Ryan Newman and Marcus Urani upon their meeting at the Jazz program at Sonoma State University. Groundation's music incorporates the lyrical struggle of Roots Reggae, the progressive musicianship of Funk/Jazz fusion, and other-worldly transcendental Dub. The 9-piece band creates an altogether new Reggae sound, featuring swirling horns, stout poly-rhythmics, and soulful harmony vocals.
