Send Me No Roses Lyrics

Send me no roses
Please, no more roses
Your roses can't hold me
What I need most is youWithout fail everyday
Since you went away
The doorbell rings
You're sending roses againIn my room all petals fall
But darling that's not all
I read your card
Then a million tears beganThough the love we once knew
Still lives inside of you
The one who holds you now
Won't set you freeTo see me you don't dare
But roses say you care
Tell her goodbye
Then please return to meBut send me no roses
Please no more roses
Roses are red I know

But through my tears they look blueSend me no roses
Please no more roses
Your roses can't hold me
What I need most is you

Tammy Wynette (May 5, 1942 – April 6, 1998) was an American country singer and songwriter. Tammy Wynette was born Virginia Wynette Pugh near Tremont, Mississippi, the only child of William Hollis Pugh (died February 13, 1943) and Mildred Faye Russell (1922–1991).
