Wilson began his professional recording career in 1987, performing nightly at the romantic hideaway restaurant, Il Cielo, in Beverly Hills, California. It was here where Wilson performed for a number of Hollywood celebrities and political figures, earning him the moniker, "Violinist to the Stars".
