Servant Ties Lyrics

Its in your eyes
The look of certainty
The look of apathy
Its in your eyesIm not so sure that we have nothing to lose
Should have held this closer
Staple your note to the back door
Until then your gut, your gut can tell you thisDoes anyone hear me? Does anyone honestly?
It will fall to pieces, it will fall to pieces
Find home, hold strong when everything is taken, youre empty
Well see a purpose, just need to stand as oneDo these thoughts have syllables or
Am I mumbling?
Do I seem tense when I carry your load?
Or am I, or am I losing it?Does anyone hear me? Does anyone honestly?
It will fall to pieces, it will fall to pieces
Find home, hold strong when everything is taken, youre empty
Well see a purpose, just need to stand as oneTake all, take everything
Its hard to stop from dropping it all on you
The heart will hurt when its crushed

By the weight of the leaves on the treesWell see a purpose, well stand as one
Well see a purpose, well stand as one, as oneIm not so sure weve lost anything
But while youre listening
Im hurting for something better
Till then your gut, your gut can tell you thisDoes anyone hear me? Does anyone honestly?
It will fall to pieces, it will fall to pieces
Find home, hold strong when everything is taken, youre empty
Well see a purpose, just need to stand as one

Haste the Day was a christian metalcore band which formed in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States in 2001. They were signed to Solid State Records. Their band is named after a lyric in the hymn “It Is Well with My Soul”. Even though the band’s style is generally considered metalcore, the band describes their music as “rock and roll with breakdowns”. Vocalist Jimmy Ryan announced his departure from the band in late November of 2005 after accepting a job with their record label, Tooth & Nail Records.
