Set It Right (A Capella Version) [Bonus Track] Lyrics

I won't save my pride
I won't strain my will
From the devil's fire, light will shine down stillYou know that you wanted everything to last forever, didn't you? You wanted the
World to come and make it better
All that you could say was you wanted to last a while
And even when life was cold you never would've asked for life to stopAnd now these songs all stand down in your place
And I swear I still see your soul in your baby's face
And I swear to god it's no coincidence that as
I sing this song today it's been one year since
And I miss youRyan, Dan, Sam, Jamie, Mama, Dad, Andrew, Don, Grandma, Francey, Dani,
Faith, Robbie, Will, Jeanne, NickyI won't save my pride
I won't strain my will
From the devil's fire, light will shine down stillNo I won't waste my life
I'm not worried to take myself as far as life wills
For us, it's just right, as far as love goes
It's just one step at a time J
That's not to say that I'm giving up on you
And I never meant to imply that my love isn't true

And I pray that you will always love me too
Because in being true to you I'm true to me too

How to Dress Well is the stage name of ethereal R&B songwriter and producer Tom Krell. Krell’s burgeoning career began in 2009 when, having just moved from Brooklyn to Berlin, his songs began to emerge online via a hugely prolific string of free, digital EPs posted in anonymity on his blog. Combining a gorgeous falsetto with fractured R&B-influenced beats, an instinctive ear for subtly devastating melody and elements of noise, sound collage and avant-garde composition, Love Remains offered a beautiful window into a startlingly fully realized artistic imagination.
