Set You Free Lyrics

I'll give you all my heart all the time
Through the rays of the sun, through the darkness of night
I'll sing you melody that will make you see
Through the windows of time, heal all your heart achesAnd while you're strong enough to let love
Let it set you free, oh girl, yeahI'll heed your every word, feel every phrase
I'll remember what you say, all your memories will be mine
You will never have to roam, you are always home
Have you refuge in my heart, our love is sacredAnd while you're strong enough to let love
Let it set you free, let it set you free, yeah heyYou've gotten over breaking your heart
There's no better place to beSo open it up come go with me and let love set you free, hey
Let it set you free, girl, oh hey yeah, let it set you free(Through the rays of the sun)
Come on babe
(Through the darkness of night)
Let it set you free(I'll remember what you say)
(All your memories will be mine)
Let it set you free(You will never have to roam)
Never have to roam
(Have you refuge in my heart)

Let it set you free(I will never leave your side)
I will never leave your side
(We can make it)
(Done it)
Let it set you free(You will never have to roam)
(Have you refuge in my heart)
Let it set you free(I will never leave your side)
Come on
(We can make it)
Let it set you free, girl(You will never have to roam)
Roam, baby
(Have you refuge in my heart)
Let it set you free, baby(I will never leave your side)
Come on don't you want to go girl, yeah
(We can make it)
Let it set you free(You will never have to roam, girl)
Come on
(Have you refuge in my heart)
Let it set you free
(I will never leave your side)
(We can make it)

Kem

Kem Owens, professionally known as Kem, is an American R&B/soul singer, songwriter, and producer. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee and raised in Detroit, Michigan.

After finishing high school, Kem dealt with homelessness, addiction, and isolation from his family. He did not overcome these issues until he turned to spirituality and music, as he has said, "My career didn't take off until I connected with my spirituality. That's why I take time on stage and on the album to administer spirituality to people. That's one of the things that I am most proud of." He has also stated that he does not create music marketed to the mainstream hip-hop-dominated R&B crowd but to people who enjoy his soul/jazz adult contemporary sound and lyrical content. He wrote, produced, and financed his self-released debut album, Kemistry, by singing in a wedding band and waiting tables. He was later signed by Motown Records, who re-released the album on February 25, 2003. The album's first single, "Love Calls", became a hit at urban adult contemporary and smooth jazz radio. He followed his debut release with a sophomore album, Album II, released May 17, 2005. It included the hit single "I Can't Stop Loving You", a #1 at urban adult contemporary radio, and the song "You Might Win" featuring Stevie Wonder on harmonica.
