Seven Days Lyrics

I'm a little heavy westbound and down
I got a zero in the bank on my account
And it's been a week since she's been home
That's seven days of on my own
That's my number, baby, gonna lay my money downMy destination is depending on a right turn
In bright field of green
And I'm rolling down the highway
Passing on the hard way burning gasolineI'm seeing signs up ahead in lights
Vegas city limit line
Tonight I'm gonna let it ride away
And I'm putting down everything I own
On the mercy of these bones
Come on man, God will bless these seven daysWell, I sold my Chevy for a couple hundred bucks
And I'm betting it all and I'm counting on lady luck
Me and destiny have made a deal
And you can't shake these nerves of steel
So come on fate, let's see where we end upMy temptation's already left me with a hand
That I can't even see

But I'm gonna play 'em I'm gonna hold 'em
Like a box car I keep rolling
These cards ain't got nothing on meI'm seeing signs up ahead in lights
Vegas city limit line
Tonight I'm gonna let it ride away
And I'm putting down everything I own
On the mercy of these bones
Come on man, God will bless these seven daysWell, I'm gonna turn this table into a one man show
And I'm stacking up my life to play on just one roll
Well, seven's my best friend in town
And yes ma'am, I'll have another round
But kiss these for daddy before I let 'em go, come onI'm seeing signs up ahead in lights
Vegas city limit line
Tonight I'm gonna let it ride away
And I'm putting down everything I own
On the mercy of these bones
Come on, man, God bless these seven daysWell, I'm putting down everything I own
On the mercy of these bones
Come on, man, God bless these seven days
