Seven Lonely Days Lyrics

Seven lonely days make one lonely week
Seven lonely nights make one lonely me
Ever since the time you told me we were through
Seven lonely days I've cried and cried for youOh my darling, I'm crying, hoo hoo hoo hoo
There's no use in denying, I've cried for you
What's your favorite past time? Just a making me blue
Last week was the last time I've cried for youSeven hankies blue I filled with my tears
Seven letters too I filled with my fears
Guess it never pays to make your lover blue
Seven lonely days I've cried and cried for youOh my darling, I'm crying, hoo hoo hoo hoo
(Seven lonely days)
There's no use in denying, I've cried for youWhat's your favorite past time? Just a making me blue
(Seven lonely nights)
Last week was the last time I've cried for you
(Seven lonely days)Seven lonely days make one lonely week
Seven lonely nights make one lonely me
Ever since the time you told me we were through
Seven lonely days I've cried and cried for youSeven lonely days make one lonely week

Seven lonely nights make one lonely me
Ever since the time you told me we were through
Seven lonely days I've cried and cried for you
Seven lonely days I've cried and cried for you

Jean Shepard (born November 21, 1933 in Paul's Valley, Oklahoma as Ollie Imogene Shepard)was one of the first female vocalists in the country music field to become a major star in the early 1950's. Shepard's family moved west to Visalia, California in hopes of a better life. In high school, Shepard formed the Melody Ranch Girls, which became locally famous. One night, Country star Hank Thompson saw Shepard performing at a show and liked what he heard. With Thompson's help, Shepard was able to get a recording contract with Capitol Records in 1952.
