Sexy Eyes Lyrics

I was sittin' all alone
Watching people get it on with each other
They were dancing 'cross the floor
Turning, moving back and forth, they were lovers
One more lonely night for me
I looked up, what did I see?Sexy eyes moving 'cross the floor
Got me wanting more sexy eyes
Sexy eyes, gettin' down with you
I wanna move with you sexy eyesI got up and took your hand
And we both began to dance to the music
Ooh, your magic cast a spell
It didn't take long till we fell and we knew it
No more lonely nights for me
This is how it's gonna beSexy eyes moving 'cross the floor
Got me wanting more sexy eyes
Sexy eyes, gettin' down with you
I wanna move with you sexy eyesNo more lonely nights for me
This is how it's gonna be

Sexy eyes moving 'cross the floor
Got me wanting more sexy eyes
Sexy eyes, gettin' down with you
I wanna groove with you sexy eyesSexy eyes moving 'cross the floor
Got me wanting more sexy eyes
Sexy eyes, gettin' down with you
I wanna groove with you sexy eyes

Dr. Hook (& The Medicine Show) were formed in Union City, New Jersey, USA in 1968. The original lineup consisted of Ray Sawyer, Dennis Locorierre, Bill Francis, John David and George Cummings - although there were countless lineup changes over the years.

Two years after Sawyer left in 1983 the band split up. Since then Sawyer has begun touring as "Dr Hook featuring Ray Sawyer" and Locorierre has also promoted himself as "The voice of Dr Hook".

Trivia: In a live webcast performance from Atlanta Bon Jovi performed "Sylvia's Mother" by Dr Hook - declaring the song "One we should have written".
