Shadow of the Whip Lyrics

A hand to hold is enough to know
Theres someone who cares
Filled your cup to the brim
Gently let down your hairIf the tears had made you blind
If one day its all gone
You came alone and youll go alone
Knowing that has made you strongYoure a light unto yourself
Youre a shadow of the whip
So much comfort in misery
We all know thats not itBroke your heart, made you cry
Knows so well how to be cruel
Therell come a day when its all alright
You wont have to feel like a fool
