Shang-A-Lang (Festive Mix) [Live] Lyrics

We were rippin' up
We were rockin' up
Roll it over and lay it downWe were shakin' up
We were breakin' up
We were rockin' to the shang-a-lang sound of the musicHey, hey, rockin to the music.
Hey, hey, rocking to the music
Rocking every night and day.HEY HEYWell we sang shang-a-lang as we ran with the gang
Doin' doo wop be dooby do ay
We were all in the news
With our blue suede shoes
And our dancin the night away.? we sang shang-a-lang
As we ran with the gang
Doin' doo wop be dooby do eye
With the jukebox playing and every body saying that
Music like ours couldn't dieWe were grooving
We were movin
Pussyfootin and putting it round.
We were boppin

We were hoppin
We were jumping to the shang-a-lang sound of the musicShang-a-lang,
Shang-a-lang,
Shang-a-lang
Shang-a-lang, shang-a-lang, shang-a-lang

The Bay City Rollers were a Scottish pop/rock band of the 1970s. Their youthful, clean-cut image, distinct styling featuring tartan-trimmed outfits, and cheery, sing-along pop hits helped the group become among the most popular musical acts of their time. For a relatively brief but fervent period (nicknamed "Rollermania"), they were a worldwide sensation. Bassist Alan Longmuir, his younger brother Derek Longmuir, a drummer, along with school mate, lead singer Gordon "Nobby" Clark founded the group in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1967, as The Saxons.
