Share A Little Joke (Mono Sing Lyrics

Share a Little JokeA friend of mine asked me
Where has he been
Where is he now?
I said he's been set free
Shares a little joke with the world somehowSounded like he'd make a halo
When I heard his laughter floating
It's all for fun you know
He said he just let go
Shares a little joke with the worldHow can I make you as happy as I am
I feel like you're running
I know we could fly
Your eyes are never tired
Your mind is on fire
Your heart has never been satisfiedWorld around you
Never catches up with youSome people are in love
Some people know everything can be done
I think you're joking
I believe in half of you

I want to journey
I want to laugh with you
But after you
Share a little joke with the worldWorld around you
Never catches up with you

Jefferson Airplane was a psychedelic rock group formed in San Francisco. It was the first of several Bay Area psychedelic groups of the 1960s to become internationally known. The band was founded by singer Marty Balin and guitarist Paul Kantner in 1965. With the addition of Signe Anderson, their male-female singing style showed their folk music roots plus Balin's love of R&B singing styles. In fact their dual lead vocals were a hallmark of their sound throughout the Airplane's career, as confirmed (to international acclaim) after Grace Slick replaced Signe Anderson as the female singer.
