Shark Attack Lyrics

Is this the light of a gun? Is this the rired upon?
Is this the reason why I’m down down down?
Was this the top of the world? Was this the top of a tree?
And am I fallin’ to the ground ground ground ground?
Is this the Dali Lama? Is this but instant Karma?
It’s just that things are going round round round round.
What sort of thing will I see? A meaning in you and me?
As my heart is slowing down down down down.
I don’t expect to be freed. I know there as I bleed.
That I’m existential bound bound bound bound.
I am a matter of fact. I am the reason I act.
And when I don’t I’m not around round round round.
Pl pl pl pl please. Don’t go cyin’ on your knees.
And don’y spend money on a gown gown gown gown
Go ahead have a drink. Take a minute to think.

And when you do I’m around round round round.
What it makes to make us REAL.

Cheers Elephant? The buzz is good.

“Sound City Players did 3-plus hours, but my favorite SXSW set came from Philly’s Cheers
Elephant: great, hooky indie-pop.”
- Eric Danton, Rolling Stone / WSJ Music

“Dubbing themselves as the dudes with the best indie rock haircuts, [Cheers
Elephant] blend playful humor, energy, and some really great three-part harmonies.”
- NPR

“Their harmonies are reminiscent of The Beatles and they carry a lighthearted energy
similar to the goofy They Might Be Giants, a combination that makes them easy to love
and hard to ignore.”
