Kimise Lee is a native washingtonian/Indie gospel artist. Kimise is a member of gospel group Heaven Sent, and is a strong believer & lover of GOD.
Brief Bio Kimise Lee, affectionately known by others as “Songbird,” born on July 27, 1974, was raised in Washington, DC. She is the daughter of Pastor Kimus J Bouknight and the late, Mary V. Lee. Kimise came from a musically inclined family and grew up in church listening to the sounds of the Bouknight Specials, which consisted of her aunts and uncles.
