She Looks to You - Little Foot Long Foot

"Little Foot Long Foot was born out of necessity and practicality. While the two piece band was originally formed as a classic rock tribute act, front-woman Joan Smith soon accepted her inability to shred rad solos and they made the obvious choice, originals. Settling on a gritty garage-rock sound, the band began working on the material that would make up their debut EP, Just About Broke.

After charting on college radio, making a couple of best of 2008 lists, and barrelling through the East Coast to wide acclaim, LFLF have recorded a new full length album, Harsh Words, recorded at the gloriously analogue Chemical Sound Studio (Tokyo Police Club, Death From Above 1979). Meanwhile, they have built up a reputation as 'the next awesome Toronto two-piece'.

LFLF sound a little bit country and a whole lot of bluesy rock n’ roll. Comparisons have been drawn to Neko Case mixed with L7, Patsy Cline meets The Gun Club, The Gossip, and yeah…The Black Keys.
