She Loves The Sunset Lyrics

She loves the sunset
She loves the cocktail bell
She loves the trembling, that evening brings,
Or might as well
There is no other love I have known
Who could ever take over her thrown
I love a girl
She loves the sunsetShe loves me also
She loves me just as well
She loves me trembling,
And everything, oh I can tell
There is no other man in her dreams
Although every so often it seems
I love a girl
She loves the sunsetOh, it's the simple things,
Oh but simple things, are scarce
You've got to figure out
About what, and for whom, you careNight time is falling

But I fell long ago
Lets say the trembling, that evening brings,
Is just the cold
I hope I'll always be by her side
Even if I'm just along for the ride
I love a girl
She loves the sunset
I love a girl
She loves the sunset
I love a girl
She loves the sunset

Old 97's are an alt-country band originally based in Dallas, Texas, USA. The group formed in 1993 and took their name from a song popularized by Johnny Cash, "Wreck of the Old '97". They describe themselves as a rock band with influences as varied as The Kinks, The Beatles, Pixies, David Bowie, X, and Merle Haggard. The band often performs songs made famous by the latter two musicians, and has interspersed a number of these on their eight releases since 1994.
