She Saw You Lyrics

Whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do?Why did you tell your girlfriend
You were hanging with the boys
She called me last night
And I tried to cover forShe asked if I liked the flick
That we all went out to see, yo, I mean this
I said, "Oh uh, well, it was nice"
She said, "Don't you lie to me"You messed up you should've warned me first
(She saw you)
I'm sad to tell ya
You should've told me 'cause you made it worse
(She saw you)
Unlucky fellaYou better take that credit card
(She saw you)
To Cartier
You better hope with all you got

(She saw you)
She feels like forgiving you today
Too bad for youYou were out there trying to be a player
Now she's gone, it's true, you my boy
But it's hard to feel that sorry for youShe saw you
(It's not right)
Now this is the end
(It's not right)Whatcha gonna do?
Saw you kiss the very girl
(Who's supposed to be)
Only your friendShe's convinced you took her heart
And played with it like a toy
And from what I heardYou just might need you a lawyer
It's too late for feeling bad
You did not respect the girl, what? You tried to play around
And got caught with your pants down
You can't escape from what you've done(She saw you)
Your time is up
You're like a deer who's caught up in
(She saw you)
The headlights of loveYou can't be too proud to plead
(She saw you)
She's gonna make you pay
Forgiveness is what you need
(She saw you)
She's too mad to let you get away
Looks bad to meYou were busy trying to be a player
Now she's gone, breathe deep
You can't be doing that creep, creep, creep, creepShe saw you
(It's not right)
Ooh, now this is the end, it is
(It's not right)
It is, yeahSaw you kiss the very girl
Who's supposed to be
Only your friend
It's hard to feel that sorry for youShe saw you
(It's not right)
Now this is the end
(It's not right)
Ooh, oohSaw you kiss the very girl
Who's supposed to be
Only your friendBusted
Whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do?
BustedBusted, busted, busted
Busted, busted, busted
Whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do?That's right
She's too mad to let you get away
Looks bad to meYou were busy trying to be a player
Now she's gone, breathe deep
You can't be doing that creep, creep, creep, creepShe saw you
(It's not right)
Yes, she did
Now this is the end, didn't see it
(It's not right)
Didn't see it comingSaw you kiss the very girl
(Who's supposed to be)
Only your friend
What were you doing? She saw you
(It's not right)
Yeah
Now this is the end, yeah, yeah
(It's not right)Saw you kiss the very girl
(Who's supposed to be)
Only your friendShe saw you
(It's not right)
Now this is the end
(It's not right)Saw you kiss the very girl
(Who's supposed to be)
Only your friendShe saw you
(It's not right)
Now this is the end
(It's not right)

Luther Ronzoni Vandross (April 20, 1951 - July 1, 2005) was an american soul and rnb singer whose career spanned four decades.

In the 70s, he worked as a backing singer Chic and for David Bowie (on the Young Americans album). He later found success as a solo artist with Superstar and A House Is Not A Home.

In the 80s, Vandross was a vocalist on early Change singles (Searching), whilst continuing his solo career with such releases as "Never Too Much", "Power Of Love/Love Power", "If Only For One Night", "Here And Now".

In the 90s, he was more famous for duets with Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey (amongst others), than for his solo work.

It was an ongoing battle with his weight that may have ultimately proved his undoing. He suffered a stroke in 2003, from which he never really recovered, and died in 2005.

During his career, he sold 25 million albums and won eight Grammy awards including Best Male R&B Vocal Performance four times. He won four Grammy awards in 2004, including the Grammy Award for Song of the Year for the track "Dance With My Father," co-written with Richard Marx.
