She Want She Want Lyrics

(Keith, Hannon)Yeah! Hot damn, shitShe want money, she want car, she want jewelry
Wants it all, still want more, yeah she want everything
What next? Request a cheque? And I said shit man, to pay her credit card
Got nowhere to get, that's why she won't be gettin' farI guess I got off lucky, I guess I got off cheap
I guess I got too goddamn tall and the hill it got too steep
The way I got to see it is the way it's got to be
I won't forget, never will regret, the day that she left meShe want she want - man, she took the best of me
She want she want - don't stand next to me
She want all, yeah she want all
She want she want - gave you the best of me
She want she want - couldn't mean less to me
She want all, you bet she want all - she wantThought I knew what love was for, oh what did I know
Next thing and she was out the door, but I guess that's much better than
Dead on the floor
I was cruisin' down the lover's lane, called and said she cruised the avenueI guess I got off easy, I guess I got off cheap
I guess I got too goddamn tall and she wasn't worth the keep
The way I got to see it is the way it's got to be
I won't forget, never will regret, the day she chose to leaveShe want she want - makes such a mess of things

She want she want - still want everything
She want all, you bet she want all
She want she want - she want anything
She want she want - anything and everything
She want all, what does she want, she want, she want, she want all[Solo]What I needed was something new, that's what I really want
Hot damn, look at her, yeah she look at you, yeah she was really hot
I said, "Baby, you're everything I want", and she said
"You are everything that I want, too" - so the story goesI guess I got off lucky, I guess I got off cheap
I guess I got too goddamn tall, wonder what you want of me
The way I got to see it is the way it's got to be
I won't forget, never will regret, the day you set me freeShe want she want - don't mean a thing to me
She want she want - now she set me free
She want all, yeah she want all
She want she want - she can't bring me down
She want she want - don't let her come around
She want all, what does she want, she want, she want, she want all[Solo]

Tesla is an American hard rock band originating from Sacramento, California. The band formed in 1984 as City Kidd and was renamed to Tesla during the recording of their first album on the advice of their manager. According to the Love Song Songfacts, their name comes from Nikola Tesla, the legendary scientist and inventor who quite possibly is single-handedly responsible for the "mad scientist" trope. Originally, the group included Jeff Keith (vocals), Frank Hannon (guitar), Tommy Skeoch (guitar), Brian Wheat (bass) and Troy Luccketta (drums). In 2006 Skeoch was replaced by Dave Rude, who is now an official member of the band.

Tesla's music fit well with the blasting sound of the 80s glam bands, but was more bluesy and lyrics dealt with other themes than just the usual, girls, alcohol and violence. But what set them even more apart from their contemporaries was their T-shirt and jeans image which was in strong contrast for that time, characteristic of leather pants and flashy-make up.

The group released 6 albums with original music, latest of them entitled "Forever More" (2008) as well as a double-disc covers album "Real To Reel" and a number of compilations and live albums.

Tesla's popular 1990 remake of Signs, originally recorded by the Five Man Electrical Band (who also inspired the album which the remake came from, Five Man Acoustical Jam), is probably the most mainstream of Tesla's hits. However, many fans remember fondly Tesla's other hits such as Gettin' Better, Modern Day Cowboy, Little Suzi, Edison's Medicine and Love Song.

The band derived their name, certain album and song names (e.g. The Great Radio Controversy, Mechanical Resonance, etc), and some song content from events relating to Nikola Tesla, a Serbian-American inventor and electrical engineer born in the 19th century in Smiljan, Austria-Hungary, modern day Croatia.
