Shine Lyrics

Do you ever feel like the sky is falling down all around you
Stars won't shine 'cause things ain’t right with the man in the moon
Do you ever feel like the world is slipping right through your hands
And all you ever wanted to do was climb up on the roof
And SHINE
Even though the stars aren't smiling on me tonight
I won't let the darkness steal my light
'Cause the sun and I are gonna part the clouds in the sky
And SHINE
And it won't rain no more on me
It won’t rain no more on me
Do you ever take the time to take off your shoes walk bare foot through the grass
It’s a simple gift when everything is moving so fast
And all I ask lets make a toast
Fill up my glass with love and hope
And give me one good reason
Give me one good reason

To SHINE
Even though the stars aren't smiling on me tonight
I won't let the darkness steal my light
'Cause the sun and I are gonna part the clouds in the sky
And SHINE
And it won't rain no more on me
It won’t rain no more on me
It won’t rain no more on me
No not on me
They say in each life a little rain must fall but I will carry on and make it through it all
They say in each life a little rain must fall but I will carry on and make it through it all
And SHINE
Even though the stars aren't smiling on me tonight
I won't let the darkness steal the sunshine
In the spotlight of my life
‘Cause the suns always been a friend of mine
And he and I are gonna part the clouds in the sky
And SHINE
SHINE
SHINE
Oooh yeah
And it won't rain no more on me!
It won’t rain no more on me
It won’t rain no more on me
Not on me
