Shoot The Moon Lyrics

Back in '95 when this was newI guess I didn't have a clue
I thought the world would change with the right songSo we picked it up and moved it outAnd turned the whole thing upside down
I told myself it wouldn't be too longAnd I believed in everyoneAnd everything they told meAnd I believed that anythingAnything was possibleShoot the moon
Shoot the moonHit or miss it makes no difference
Shoot the moonBack when everything was looking up
I thought I'd never get enoughI didn't let the world obstruct my viewAnd we thought that it would never end
We had our fun in spite of itAnd paved the way for something slightly newGraded On A Curve
