Shop Window Lyrics

Id pay good money to sort your head out
To blank out the screen
To take us back to simple pleasures and meansIts a barbed little comment
Not big enough for the outside to see
But thats how you love it
Thats how you kept it between you and meAll appearance is kept up
Everyone is envious
Make them feel like weve got it made
Like a gift that some God sent to usBut its just a shop window, youre undressing it again
Ill stand where you want me to
Pointing where our relationship's going
Im not an arrow or dart for throwingId pay good money to get out of this
To turn my back to your dream
Id pay good money to make this window steamIts a barbed little comment
Not big enough for the outside to see
But thats how you love it
Thats how you kept it between you and me
