Shoulda Known Better Lyrics

Baby don't say that it's too late
'Cause I'm never gonna stop believing
I feel there's a chance here
That I'm never gonna shake this feelingSaid that I'll be there for you, girl
Like you were there for meHow could I hold you close?
And then just let you go
How come I didn't see you falling for me?
Your love was in your eyes, I didn't realize
For the rest of my life, I'll be pretty good
I shoulda known better, I shoulda known betterYou tell me that you love me
And I swear I listen to you this time
'Cause I want you, really need you
Ain't it clear that no one else's on my mindPromise I'll be there for you, girl
Like you were there for meHow could I hold you close?
And then just let you go
How come I didn't see you falling for me?
Your love was in your eyes, I didn't realize
For the rest of my life, I'll be pretty good

I shoulda known better, I shoulda known betterNo, you are the only one
I want to make you mine till the end of time
I know, I was the last to see you
That's why blame is on meI shoulda known better
I shoulda known better, baby
Oh, yeah, yeah
Oh, oh babyHow could I hold you close?
And then just let you go
How come I didn't see you falling for me?
Your love was in your eyes, I didn't realize
For the rest of my life, I'll be pretty good
I shoulda known better, I shoulda known better, babyHow could I hold you close?
And then just let you go
How come I didn't see you falling for me?
Your love was in your eyes, I didn't realize
For the rest of my life, I'll be pretty good
I shoulda known better, I shoulda known better, babyHow could I hold you close?
And then just let you go
