Shrinking the Blob Lyrics

The deeper you get the more you sink into it
Faster you fall the more you crawl away from it
"We're Siamese at the knees", she said and were weighted
"Were Siamese if you please", and she said and were weighted, yeahWe are here, are here, are right here with you
We are here, are here, are right here with youThe more that you make the less you should take from others
The longer you live the more you should give to your brothers
"We're Siamese at the knees", she said and were weighted
"Were Siamese if you please", and she said and were weighted, yeahWe are here, are here, are right here with you
We are here, are here, are right here with you
You came, the wait is over
And now your mine
And you'll never ever be aloneCant believe how much youve grown in such a short time
Cant believe how much youve grown and are growing
Ornery, but lovingly you scream when your hungry
Cant believe how much youve grown and are growing
Right in front of my eyesWe are here, are here, are right here with you
We are here, are here, are right here with you
You came the wait is over

And now your mine and your mine
And you'll never ever be alone

Oleander is a post-grunge band from Sacramento, California. Its name is derived from the poisonous wildflower oleander. Oleander was formed by Fred Nelson Jr. (drums), Doug Eldridge (bass guitar), Ric Ivanisevich (guitar) and Thomas Flowers (vocals, guitar) in the mid-90s. Their debut was Oleander, an EP released on Fine Records in 1996, which they followed with the full-length album Shrinking the Blob in 1997. The song "Down When I'm Loaded" became a regional hit, and Oleander signed with Universal Records.
