Shroud of Urine Lyrics

Christ on a cross
Such a symbol of loss
Since what seems like the dawn of timeIt's just an engine of grief
Yeah, bloody belief
One that has no reason or rhymeYou're cruci-fucked
And you're out of luck
If you put your faith in the flockYour only sin
Is when you piss in the wind
They never had any key to the lockI believe in nothing
Least of all in the word of shit
So, hide in your shroud of urine
Because I can't take the smell of itGod isn't great
Just an icon of hate
Intolerance and despiseBelieve in me
And I will set you free
I never heard a bigger pack of liesIt's ludicrous
That anyone of us
Would want to be lead by the blindIt's all in vain

It'll be your bane
If you're looking for the divineI believe in nothing
Least of all in the word of shit
So, hide in your shroud of urine
Because I can't take the smell of itForgive and forget
Such an empty threat
Religion at the end of the bladeThe insanity
Of Christianity
Is just a fucking masqueradeYou're cruci-fucked
And you're out of luck
If you put your faith in the flockYour only sin
Is when you piss in the wind
They never had any key to the lockI believe in nothing
Least of all in the word of shit
So, hide in your shroud of urine
'Cause I can't take the smell of itI believe in nothing
Least of all in the word of shit
So, hide in your shroud of urine
Because I can't take the smell of it

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Exodus is one of the first thrash metal bands to come out of the bay area, formed in 1980 in San Francisco, California, by Kirk Hammett, Tom Hunting, Paul Baloff, Jeff Andrews, and Gary Holt. They were cited as major influence by pretty much every thrash band. Known for their aggressive brand of thrash, as opposed to the more melodic, NWOBHM rooted thrash sound of the likes of Metallica, and equally aggressive live shows.
