Sick & Tired Lyrics

[Chorus: Anthony Hamilton]
I'm sick and tired of being criticized
I'm sick and tired of barely gettin by
I'm sick and tired of not livin right
I'm sick and tired of being sick and tiredI'm sick and tired of being pushed aside
I'm sick and tired of callin folks for rides
I'm sick and tired of this petty life
I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired[Big V]
What is life what is makin it
For peace is there a price
Tell me if you rich you only gotta worry about more shit
The house, the car notes, child support and kin people
Kick doors "mo money, mo problems" that's how it goes[B. Stille]
Man, I'm gettin tired of runnin and duckin, quit runnin then
Especially when I ain't did nothin, do somethin then
Out here in these cold streets hustlin
Po, tryin to make this dough 'fore the police bustin in[Fish scales]
And then its what it could'a been should'a been

Find yourself outside lookin in
Givin up feelin stuck
Mad at the world cause you down and they gettin up
Mad at yourself cause you know you shouldn't be given up[Skinny Deville]
I'm tired and sick of bummin rides
On top of that my nine to five
Sucks for a couple bucks
And change now what's the reason why
My luck don't amount to fuck
No matter how hard I try
I'm stuck in the 22 now catch me when I'm sick and tired[Chorus][Ron Clutch]
Prophit, check this out
I'm gettin tired of mama breakin her neck for the pay check
They makin her sweat seem like everyday she stressed(I've had up to here with pussyfooters actin like we owed you something
Lets see "you know who" like I'm supposed to throw you something)I'm gettin' tired of daddy puchin the clock scaring his knuckles
He tired of the hustle he feel the pain deep in his muscles(seems like the media portray us against being rich
Like we shouldn't enjoy shrimp and occasional trips)While my baby brother scrappin' with his baby mother
Deep down I know he love her but he should a worn a rubber(I'm sick and tired of players down to do us bodily harm
Like them country boys ain't at the range firing arms)And my little sister think she grown want to make on her own
I ain't bring you in this world but you still my baby girl(I'm fed up when I feel like this
MM yeaga's keep your head up we pray and kneel for this)[Chorus][Big VI]
Keep it real remember god don't change [unknown]
Don't forget where you come from
You got some money gimme some
You different, fuck you
Man I got your first tape
You always gonna be Vito to me
So now get out my face[Fish Scales]
I know what you mean dog
Tired of people who complain always bout the same thing
First you learn to maintain after that create a change
See we gettin up and gettin out
Playa what you jokin and you kiddin bout
Change is what we gettin out[Skinny Deville]
What they say I ain't thinkin bout
All day and night I struggle hustle
Just to pay the dues
Now I gotta keep the lights on
Ain't got no time for lazy snooze
Damn man, who made these rules
What think about they amused
I'm sick and tired but I can't stop
No matter if they say I lose[B. Stille]
My wife is curious about how much she can get me on her life insurance
But still was bummin no problem that's life was purious
"Mo money, Mo Problems" that's right Notorious[Chorus until fade]

Nappy Roots are an American hip hop sextet that originated in Kentucky in 1995, best known for their hit 2002 single "Awnaw". Their music can be categorized as alternative Southern rap.

The members of the group met while studying at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The group consists of Kentucky and Oakland, California natives Skinny DeVille, B. Stille, Ron Clutch, Big V, R. Prophet, and Fishscales.

Their debut album Country Fried Cess was released in 1998. Eventually, they were signed to the major label Atlantic Records and rose to fame with their first album on the label, 2002's Watermelon, Chicken & Gritz. The album featured the singles "Headz up", "Awnaw" (whose remix featured Marcos Curiel), and "Po' Folks" (featuring Anthony Hamilton). Their next album Wooden Leather, released in 2003, featured the singles "Roun' the Globe" and "Sick and Tired" (featuring Anthony Hamilton). This critically acclaimed, major label follow up album, "Wooden Leather" featured production from Kanye West, David Banner and Lil Jon.

Since the release of Wooden Leather they are back to being independent artists, and have started their own label, N.R.E.G (Nappy Roots Entertainment Group) with distribution through Fontana/Universal Music Group. On July 31, 2007, they released their first album as independent artists, Innerstate Music featuring singles "Good Day" and "Keep It Real". This was actually an internet album, similar to a modern day mixtape. It was intended to be a precursor to their 2008 album, The Humdinger which was released on August 5th 2008.

In 2008, the Nappy Roots returned to the spotlight with an internet campaign targeting the mega-popular hip-hop sites such as Allhiphop, HiphopDX, Sohh, 2dopeboyz, Dubcnn, XXL Mag and BallerStatus, etc.[3] The critically-acclaimed album, The Humdinger features guest appearances from Anthony Hamilton, Greg Nice, Greg Street and Slick & Rose, with production from Sol Messiah, Groove Chambers, Big Al, Joe Hop and more. The Humdinger entered the Billboard Rap Charts at #7 and R&B/Hip-Hop Albums at #13.

Nappy Roots last toured across the country on the "Pursuit of Nappyness" tour. Fish Scales, Skinny DeVille, and Big V began their Humdinger Winter Tour on January 14, 2009 in Chicago, IL.

In 2009, NREG anticipates the release of 40 Akerz from Fish Scales and Skinny DeVille as well as an independent project from Big V.

Nappy Roots will kick off 2010 with their highly anticipated new album, "Pursuit of Nappiness", due to release April 20, 2010. The album will feature songs produced by a quickly emerging production duo from Atlanta, GA by the name of Phivestarr Productions.
