Sidewinder Lyrics

Saw you there with long blonde hair
Eyes of blue, oh baby, I love you.
When you're talking (I love your talk)
Look so cute behind your kick
I've heard some songs but baby you're a hit.
When you're walking (I love your walk)
When you're rocking (I love your rock)
When you're ticking (I'm your tock)
But then again you're a just a thought (flop?)
I love your touch, I love your smell (spell/style?)
When you're walking (I love your walk)
You think I'm lying but I'm not.
When you're rocking (I love your rock)
Hit the snag you know it makes me smile.
When you're talking (I love your talk)
I love you but you can't see;
I love you but baby do the gree (???)
When you're ticking (I'm your tock)

Then again you're a just a thought
(Instrumental)
You think I'm lying but I'm not.
(I love your walk)
(I love your walk)
(I love your talk)
(I love your talk)
(InstrumentalThen again you're a just a thought
You think I'm lying but I'm not.

Teenage Fanclub are an indie rock band from Bellshill, Scotland near Glasgow, formed in 1989, and were formerly known as The Boy Hairdressers. They have two generally known humorous nicknames "The Fannies" and "The Bellshill Beach Boys"

Teenage Fanclub are revered for their devotion to chiming, Byrds-esque guitars and harmony vocals. Songwriting duties are shared between the three permanent members of the band, Norman Blake, Raymond McGinley, and Gerard Love.

In 2006, the band held two special concerts in London and Glasgow, playing their 1991 masterpiece Bandwagonesque in its entirety.

There have been a succession of drummers, including:

- Francis MacDonald (a prime-mover in the C86 scene, later of the BMX Bandits), the drummer in the original lineup, and in a later period
- Brendan O’Hare (later of Telstar Ponies, Thrapple , Mogwai and Macrocosmica)

and

- Paul Quinn (later of The Primary 5), who was later replaced by the returning Francis MacDonald.

Keyboardist Finlay MacDonald (no relation to Francis MacDonald) has also been a member.
