Silver Girl Lyrics

Silver girl, stay until tomorrow
Take my heart away with just a single kiss
Silver girl, the world outside our window
Somehow fades away at moments like thisWhile tonight in the city street the people rush by
You and I are taking our time, precious timeWon't you lay with me, stay with me one moment more
I couldn't bear to see you walk out that door
Stay with me, stay with me, be my one in the world
For just one golden moment, my silver girlThe silver moon holds us in its power
With a magic that I'm not prepared to fight
With all my strength I've been holding back the hour
Lie beside me now if just for one nightFar below, in the city street the people rush by
You and I are taking our time, precious timeWon't you lay with me, stay with me one moment more
I couldn't bear to see you walk out that door
Stay with me, stay with me, be my one in the world
For just one golden moment, my silver girlWon't you lay with me, stay with me one moment more
I couldn't bear to see you walk out that door
Stay with me, stay with me, be my one in the world
My silver girlWon't you lay with me, stay with me one moment more

I couldn't bear to see you walk out that door
Stay with me, stay with me, be my one in the world
My silver girl

Patrick Park is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. Park grew up in Morrison, Colorado. He was exposed to the arts at an early age: his mother was a published poet, and his father was a doctor who enjoyed playing folk and blues records and the guitar at home. Park himself began to write songs in his early teens and played in bands starting in middle school. He moved to New York City to try and start a music career, but left after less than eight months for Los Angeles, working numerous odd jobs that ranged from clothing store retail clerk to karate teacher to support himself.
