Childhood
Since childhood Ermy has shown a talent to sing. At a young age, has often show Ermy permissibility at parties and wedding anniversary relatives in Manado, North Celebes, Indonesia. But the appearance of a new professional school starts classes after grade 3rd junior high school, Ermy often appeared on-stage in a single open stage with the band or accompaniment, like: Meliska, Nada Yudha, De'Inst, De'Logis and De'Nost to hold show-show in Manado and surroundings. Early career
In 1973, Ermy move to Jakarta and was accepted to sing at the hotel with Melky Marcopolo Goeslow.
