Singing Rhymes Lyrics

Lord, it seems, my whole life
Ain't been nothing but trouble
When I try to straighten things out
Hell, things doubleEver since I met you
Doing what a man's supposed to do for meNow a lot of folks think that love is wrong
They don't know what's going on
'Cos ever since the day they told me your name
This old heart of mine has been under lock and chainWell, I always knew that you made the sun shine
I never thought I'd see the day I'd make you mine
I'll always be singing rhymes about loveDon't want you to think
I'm coming on a little too strong
Just wanna let you know
Ain't nothing going wrongAnd everything I ever tried to do
It just comes right back to you
I guess, that's what love's supposed to doI'll always be singing rhymes
I'll always be writing lines about loveYeah, everything I ever tried to do
It just comes right back to you
I guess, that's what love's supposed to doI'll always be singing rhymes

(I'll always be singing rhymes)
I'll always be writing lines
(I'll always be writing lines)I'll always be singing rhymes
I'll always be writing lines
I'll always be writing lines about love

The Marshall Tucker Band is a Southern rock band. Originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina, the band formed in 1972, and soon signed with Capricorn Records. In 1973 they released their first EP, simply titled 'The Marshall Tucker band. Compared to southern rock pioneers and label-mates The Allman Brothers Band, Marshall Tucker had a more country and western feel, with the flute being a key lead instrument in their sound.
