Sister Contine Lyrics

Well, can you tell me more
Well, I believe I hear you callin'
Well, is it hard to run
Well, I believe I hear you callin', callin' oohBelieve I been, so gettin' tired
Against this wind that blows
But sometimes it ain't no use in tryin
When you're gone, tonightWell, is it hard to run in the rain
Well, darlin' cool my little breeze, yeah
And is it right to be here now
And is it right to be here now, be here, say nowOh, sister contine light my wings
Glide on by, through the words you're singin', yeah
Oh, sister contine light my wings
Glide on by, through the words you're singin'Well, can you tell me more
Well, I believe I hear you callin', callin'
Well, is it hard to run
Well, I believe I hear you callin', callin'For we belong in the sun [Incomprehensible]
My darling one
We belong in the sun [Incomprehensible]

My darling oneHail, hail for the king is here
Yes, to pull the salt from your tears
And into your manic eye
The desert sand and stone does flyWell, is it hard to run in the rain
Well, darlin' cool my little breeze, yeah
Well, is it right to be here now
Well, is it right to be here now, be here now, say nowOh, sister contine light my wings
Glide on by, through the words you're singin', yeah
Oh, sister contine light my wings
Glide on by, through the words you're singin'Well, sister light, sister contine she comes
In the light she brings
Well, is it hard to run
Down in the rain, yeahOh, sister contine light my wings
Glide on by, through the words you're singin'
Well, can you tell me more
Well, I believe I hear you callin'
And yes it's hard to run

Rusted Root is an alternative/bluegrass/jam band which formed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1990. The band consists of Michael Glabicki (vocals, guitar), Colter Harper (guitar), Dirk Miller (guitar), Patrick Norman (bass, percussion), Liz Berlin (percussion, vocals) and Jason Miller (drums, percussion). Every member of the band has proficiency in African drums, and this lends to the band's strong percussion, which draws from Middle-Eastern, African, Latin, Native American and funk influences. The band is best known for their 1995 hit single "Send Me On My Way" which has been featured in dozens of films and television shows.
