Sittin' On Top of the World (Aurora Borealis Mix) Lyrics

Never seen a sky so blue
I've never been happy with anyone
Like I am when I'm with you
Look at the sun shining up in the skyI feel a little closer to heaven baby
When I'm looking into your eyes
And as long as we're together boy
I'm sitting on top of the worldWant to feel this way forever boy
I'm sitting on top of the world
Last night I lay in the dark
Tryin' to figure it outTryin' to talk to my heart
But now it's morning and I still don't know why
All I know is that you got me feeling so good
All I know is that it feels the way that true love shouldAin't no one luckier than you and I
And as long as we're together, boy
I'm sitting on top of the world
Want to feel this way forever, boyI'm sitting on top of the world
And everybody's got an opinion 'bout how this should be
But they don't understand it

No, no they just can't seeThat I belong with you and baby Baby
Baby, you belong with me
And as long as we're together, boy
I'm sitting on top of the worldWant to feel this way forever, boy
I'm sitting on top of the world

Margaret LeAnn Rimes (born August 28, 1982, in Jackson, Mississippi) is a popular American country and pop music singer. Rimes emerged with her first single, "Blue," when she was just thirteen years old in 1996. She is most recognized for her crossover hit "How Do I Live" which, according to the Billboard charts, is one of the most successful songs in American music history, spending 69 weeks on the charts, more than any other song in American history. While country singer Trisha Yearwood's version of the song won a Grammy in 1998, Rimes' version outsold Yearwood's by millions of copies.
