Sky (Tears from Heaven) Lyrics

Why is the world so in pain?
Isn't there enough love to go around?
I'm clutching to the cross on my chains
They rattle as I drag them through todayI don't know if you can hear
I need someone near
Hold this body and say
Close the door and close my eyes(Chorus)
Oh, when the lights are low
Tears from heaven will fall
On my heart, on my heart
I can feel them clean my soul
And take my sadness away
When the lights are low
I'm not alone, I'm not alone, noOh, only when the lights are low in my room
I can be away from it all
Oh, only when the lights are low in my room
I can be away from it allI walk on the ground of an earthquake
There doesn't seem to be anywhere safe

I listen for the sound, like endless space
'Cause when I hear the cry my fears eraseNow I know that you can hear
I long to feel you near
I can hear when heaven cries
So dim the lights and close my eyes
My eyes (X7)(Chorus, X2)
Oh, when the lights are low
Tears from heaven will fall
On my heart, on my heart
I can feel them clean my soul
And take my sadness away
When the lights are low
I'm not alone, I'm not alone, noOh, only when the lights are low in my room
I can be away from it all
Oh, only when the lights are low in my room
Tears from heaven will fall

Delerium has traditionally been a two-person project, but the only constant member throughout its history has been Bill Leeb. After Michael Balch left both Front Line Assembly and Delerium, Bill Leeb worked with Rhys Fulber...
