Sleepless (Tony Levin Mix) Lyrics

In the dream I fall into the sleepless sea
With a swell of panic and pain
My veins are aching for the distant reef
In the crush of emotional wavesAlright, get a hold of yourself
And don't fight it, it's over your head
It's alright, the rumble in your ears
It's alright to feel a little fear
And don't fight it, it's over your head
It's alright, you wake up in your bedSilhouettes like shivering ancient feeling
They cover my foreign floors and walls
Submarines are lurking in my foggy ceiling
They keep me sleepless at nightAlright, get a hold of yourself
And don't fight it, it's over your head
It's alright, the rumble in your ears
It's alright to feel a little fear
And don't fight it, it's over your head
It's alright, you wake up in your bedHey, can you picture the sight
The figures on the beach in a searing night

And the roaring hurt of my silent fight, hey
Can you pull me out of this sleepless night?Of this sleepless night, can you pull me out?
[Incomprehensible]

King Crimson is a progressive rock group from England formed in 1969 by guitarist Robert Fripp and drummer Michael Giles. Though originally an all-British musical group, later members have included a number of Americans, most notably Adrian Belew, and Tony Levin. The name "King Crimson" was coined by Peter Sinfield as a synonym for Beelzebub, prince of demons. King Crimson's debut album was In the Court of the Crimson King.
