Slipping Around Lyrics

Seems I always have to slip around
To be with you, my dear
Slippin' around
Afraid we might be foundI know I can't forget you
And I've got to have you near
But we just have to slip around
And live in constant fearThough you're tied up with someone else
And I'm all tied up too
I know I've made mistakes, dear
But I'm so in love with youI hope some day I'll find the way
To bring you back with me
Then I won't have to slip around
To have your company[Incomprehensible]Though you're tied up with someone else
And I'm all tied up too
I know I've made mistakes, dear
But I'm so in love with youI hope some day I'll find the way
To bring you back with me
Then I won't have to slip around

To have your company

Ernest Dale Tubb (February 9, 1914 – September 6, 1984), nicknamed the Texas Troubadour, was an American singer and songwriter and one of the pioneers of country music. His biggest career hit song, "Walking the Floor Over You" (1941), marked the rise of the honky tonk style of music. In 1948, he was the first singer to record a hit version of "Blue Christmas", a song more commonly associated with Elvis Presley and his mid-1950s version.
