Slither (Guitar Hero III DLC) Lyrics

Hey Hey HeyWhen you look you see right through me
Cut the rope, fell to my knees
Fallen, broken every single timeAlways keep me under finger
That's the spot where you would (sue) me
But I see sometime pleasure in my mindYeah, here comes the water
It's come to wash away the sins of you and I
This time you seeHey hey heyWhen you seek me you destroy me
Rape my mind and smell the poppy's
Fallen blood in every single timeAlways keep me under finger
That's the spot where you might linger
But I see sometime the pleasure in my mindYeah, here comes the water
It's come to wash away the sins of you and I
This time you see
Like holy water
It only burns you faster than you'll ever dry
This time with meWhen you look you see right through me
Cut the rope, fell to my knees
Fallen and broken

Every single timeYeah, here comes the water
It's come to wash away the sins of you and I
This time you see
Like holy water
It only burns you faster than you'll ever dry
This time with meHey, hey, hey

Velvet Revolver is a hard rock supergroup formed in 2002 and consisting of former Guns N' Roses members Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, alongside Dave Kushner formerly of punk band Wasted Youth. Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland was Velvet Revolver's lead singer from their formation until 2008. In 2004, the band achieved commercial success with their debut album, Contraband. Critics initially described Velvet Revolver as a mere combination of Stone Temple Pilots and Guns N' Roses, and criticized the band for a "disconnection" between Scott Weiland and the rest of the band.
