Slow Burn Lyrics

Maybe you've had your reservations
Or maybe it's all in my mind
Ohh I, I understand the hesitation
But give it some timeYou can keep on playing your games with me
And I'll play them back to you
But if we keep beginning endlessly
That's all we'll ever doWe're turning an ember into flame
And I believe it's worth the wait
We're looking at a slow burn (slow burn)
It'll be hard I won't pretend
But I will be in it 'til the end
It's gonna be a slow burn (slow burn)
This is an epic in the making
A story that's never been told
So turn the page, don't be afraid
To let the inevitable unfoldIf you're always chasing memories
Then we may not make it through
And if we keep beginning endlessly

That's all we'll ever doWe're turning an ember into flame
And I believe it's worth the wait
We're looking at a slow burn (slow burn)
It'll be hard I won't pretend
But I will be in it 'til the end
It's gonna be a slow burn (slow burn)
We don't have to rush to the end of this road
Take it slow
We can make it last in this fire we make
If we let it burn (if we let it burn)
If we let it burn (if we let it burn)We're turning an ember into flame
And I believe it's worth the wait
We're looking at a slow burn (slow burn)
It'll be hard I won't pretend
But I will be in it 'til the end
It's gonna be a slow burn (slow burn)We're turning an ember into flame
And I believe it's worth the wait
We're looking at a slow burn (slow burn)
It'll be hard I won't pretend
But I will be in it 'til the end
It's gonna be a slow burn (slow burn)
