Small Town Woman Lyrics

Small Town Woman Mark Lindsay
Just like a robin chasin' theLike a moth to a flameI left in search of the bright lights of wonder
Never knowing the painTo be burnt in the glow of missing you so
Wanting the touch of your handOh, small town womanI'm comin home and I'm bringin' a promise
That I'll never leave you againI've walked the canyons of neon and stone
Heard the big city soundsBut with the morning the glitter is goneCos' you're nowhere aroundSo I'm leavin' today, making my wayBack to where good love beginOh, small town womanI'm comin home and I'm bringin' a promise
That I'll never leave you again( Solo)So I'm leavin' today, I'm makin' my wayBack to where good love beganOh, small town womanI'm comin home and I'm bringin' a promise
That I'll never leave you again

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

Lindsay began performing at the age of fifteen with local bands. He was tapped to sing in a band called Freddy Chapman and the Idaho Playboys after he won a local talent contest. After Chapman left the area, Lindsay saw the other band members and a new member, Paul Revere, playing at a local I.O.O.F. Hall.
