Smells Like Queer Spirit (live 1992) Lyrics

Against all odds, we appear
Grew up brainwashed,
But turned out queer
Bunsplitters, rugmunchers too
We screw just how we want to screw(Chorus)
Hello, hello, hello, homo
Hello, hello, hello, homo
Hello, hello, hello, homo
Hello, hello, hello
With the lights out, it's advantageous
Here we are now, so fellate us
Roll it on now, lubricate us
Get us off now, ejaculate us
Play Fugazi, play Repeater
River Phoenix wearing speedosYeah, Queer!Irreverent and in you face
Attacking preachers spewing hate
I'd love to puncture their balloons
Spray silly string around their roomsChorusYeah, Queer! The world's a mess, but for awhile

We lick and suck and feel fine
I find it hard, that's nice to find
Forget the closet, never mindChorusNo denial x4
Jesse Helms on trial
No denial x4

Pansy Division is a punk rock band formed in San Francisco, California in 1992. The band was a founding example of the queercore movement of openly gay musicians. They opened for fellow Bay Area band and former Lookout! Records artists Green Day on their "Dookie" tour in 1994 for a few months. Their first single release was on the Outpunk Records compilation Outpunk Dance Party, to which they contributed the song "I Can't Sleep". They have released many singles and LPs, mainly on the independent record label Lookout! Records and on Alternative Tentacles.
