So Gone Lyrics

I heard that warnin' whistle blowin'
I knew that train was comin' fast
The sound of the wheels was hypnotisin'
I could not move from it's path
I just stood there, glued to the tracksIt was a long time comin'
She was a heartbreak waitin' to happen
And I went right along
It was a long time comin'
Before I knew what hit me, she was gone
She was so goneThose cold black eyes that burned right through me
Could melt a heart of steel
I just pulled her closer to me
'Cause I loved the way it made me feel
Underneath her wheelsIt was a long time comin'
She was a heartbreak waitin' to happen
And I went right along
It was a long time comin'
Before I knew what hit me, she was gone

She was so goneIt was a long time comin'
Before I knew what hit me, she was gone
Before I knew what hit me, she was gone
She was so gone, so goneSo gone
So gone
