Softly Lyrics

I remember that kiss in a cold world, oh, girl
Sunlight fell from your lips, tenderly you shattered me
Somehow you touched me like no one else
Slipped into my soul like a prayerBaby, with the sweetest kiss
Came along and stole my breath
Tore down my defenses with a whisperOh, you showed me how love can be
You broke through to my heart
Softly, baby, softlyYou're like God in this world, fragile, beautiful
There's so much trust in your eyes
They make me remember blue skies and sunshine
I wanna be what you see in me
I wanna love you the way that you love meBaby, with the sweetest kiss
You came along and stole my breath
Tore down my defenses with a whisperOh, you show me how love can be
You break through to my heart
SoftlyI don't wanna be that strong
If it means being alone
I wanna stay with you where I belongAnd let you show me just how good love can be

You break through to my heart
Softly, baby, softly
Softly, baby, softly

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

The Soup Dragons were a Scottish alternative rock band of the late 1980s and early 1990s, named after a character in the 1970s children's TV show The Clangers. The band is best known in the UK for their cover of the Rolling Stones' "I'm Free" and in America for their Top 40 hit "Divine Thing". The Soup Dragons formed in Bellshill, Scotland a town very near to Glasgow (which would later spawn another popular band, Teenage Fanclub) in 1985.
