Some Paths Lyrics

Some paths will not forget you
Some roads remember footsteps, yeah
Even though you leftSome paths will not forget you
Some roads remember footsteps, yeah, yeah
Even though you weptWhite horses dancing on the ocean
Coal fire burnin' in the hills
Sweet smell of rain upon the dry land
Point to the ground and ask are you stillSome paths will not forget you
Some roads remember footsteps, yeah
Even though you leftSome paths will not forget you
Some roads remember footsteps, yeah, yeah
Even though you weptOnce upon a country road you danced
Smell of orange leaves crushed up in your hands
Sun so hot it shimmered on the pavement
Said it looked like diamonds in the sandSome paths will not forget you
Some roads remember footsteps, yeah
Even though you left a long, long time agoSome paths will not forget you
Some roads remember footsteps, yeah, yeah

Even though you weptHear familiar voices out in the distance, yeah
Hoping someone out there will throw you a line
'Cause we're all out here on the edge of existence, yeah
We're all out here on the edge of time, time, time, time

There is more than one band called Mishka. This one is Mishka Frith. Like his older sister, singer/songwriter Heather Nova (born Heather Frith), pop-reggae singer Mishka grew up at sea, traveling from island to island in the West Indies on his Canadian mother and Bermudian father's sailboat, where he received most of his education and listened to whatever music he could. When his parents returned to Canada, he completed school and returned to the Caribbean, eventually becoming a competitive windsurfer and representing Bermuda at international meets.
