Some Things Lyrics

On the 8th of November
I remember telling her that we'd be together forever
But things have changed
Now re rearranged we are now no longer togetherIt was the way she spoke,my heart broke
I thought that I would never love again
But then you came along, so I changed my song
With you my life would never be the sameAn' things have changed, and they're only getting better
An' things have changed, and they're only getting betterIt was the day you were born,my attention was torn
I no longer only thought of myself
You see, there's half of you and half of me
And that love really set's me freeSo now the moral to this tale is if your love should fail
Pick your heart up off the ground
You see, love comes down when you're nowhere around
It's just the way things have got to beAn' things have changed, and they're only getting better
An' things have changed, and they're only getting better
An' things have changed, and they're only getting better
An' things have changed, and they're only getting betterAn' things have changed, and they're only getting better
An' things have changed, and they're only getting better, yeah

An' things have changed, and they're only getting better
An' things have changed, and they're only getting better
A better a better a betterAn' things have changed, and they're only getting better, yeah
An' things have changed, and they're only getting better, yeah
An' things have changed, and they're only getting better
An' things have changed, and they're only getting better, yeah

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is a contemporary swing band from Southern California. Their notable singles include "Go Daddy-O" and "You and Me and the Bottle Makes Three Tonight". The band went from a regular Wednesday night gig at the Derby in Hollywood, playing for a few hundred people, to playing the Super Bowl XXXIII half-time show in 1999. The band was originally formed in 1989 by leader Scott Morris. He and Kurt Sodergren are the two "original" members, with the rest of the band joining later on.
