Somebody Else's Body Lyrics

Nothing from a schoolboy
Taught me right from wrong
Education's dead, I knew the answer
But had all the questions wrong
Somebody's head they said
I didn't see it happen, I didn't have a clue
In somebody else's body
With someone else's head
In somebody else's body
When I was someone else instead
In somebody else's body
With someone else's head
When you're in somebody else's body
In someone else's bed
A revolution came and left today, nobody knew
It came and went and so did judgment day
It's really nothing new, I didn't read the papers
I didn't watch the news, no

In somebody else's body
With someone else's head
In somebody else's body
When I was someone else instead
In somebody else's body
With someone else's head
When you're in somebody else's body
In someone else's bed
Ooh, baby, you are everything to me
But sometimes I need more
Ooh, and lately it seems the more I get
The more I just keep lookin' for
So tell me what's the use
So tell me now, tell me
What the use is when it's over
It's over, it's over when you're
In somebody else's body
With someone else's head
In somebody else's body
When I was someone else instead
In somebody else's body
With someone else's head
When you're in somebody else's body
In someone else's bed
But it's over when you're
In somebody else's body
With someone else's head, oh
When you're in somebody else's body
When someone else is dead
They can't tell it's me, no, no, no

Urge Overkill are an alternative rock band from Chicago that attracted underground attention in the late 80s and early 90s. While their ironic reshaping of 70's arena and glam rock left them marginalized during the height of grunge, they managed to appear on the charts with their cover of the Neil Diamond classic "Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon" from the Pulp Fiction soundtrack, which hit #50 on the US Charts, and #11 on the Modern Rock charts.
