Somehow Lyrics

Way recoil!
Testing, testing, 1 2 3 4 5
Seal ah sever
Love anointing
Ten commandment
Whoa yah!
Sizzla Kalonji with de bigger judgment uh-nuh!
Wide worldwide!
Ah-hah!
'Cause somehow Jah-Jah jus' keep on blessing this place
Somehow RasTafari jus' keep on showing us his love and his grace
Somehow Jah-Jah jus' keep on blessing this place
Somehow RasTafari jus' keep on showing us his face
When I'm cruising through, moving through
I consider the little children need new clothes and shoes
I consider the little children need education and food

'Cause I've got the strength and l've got the vibes
I've got my children and my beautiful wife
Life is for love, life is for living
The blessing from above is so much, l keep giving
He created the Heaven and the Earth; let us enjoy it!
Praise Selassie and don't destroy it, whoa!
'Cause somehow Jah-Jah jus' keep on blessing this place
Somehow RasTafari keep showing us all his love and his grace
Somehow King Selassie l jus' keep on blessing Mama Africa, oh-yay!
Somehow RasTafari jus' keep on oooh! oh-yay-yay!
Things and time is so tempting, what's the words from your mouth?
Pocket is empty! still we can work something out
Don't know where the next dime coming from, yet we've got lyrics jumping out
The people l grew up with, l keep on helping out
Say my prayers because Jah will provide
Your system is so hard, me nah go commit no murder nor suicide
Till the soil and...give thanks for my life
Jah going to bless me, he's my guide
Oh-yay! don't you deprive?
You got to open up your eyes
Checking it simple
Should never you go despise
'Cause somehow Jah-Jah jus' keep on blessing this place
Somehow RasTafari keep on showing us his love and his grace
Somehow Jah-Jah jus' keep on...blessing our place
Yeah-hoo!
Oh-uh, oh-uh, yah-hoo!
Hey hey hey hey hey hey!
Hey hey hey hey hey hey!
Ha ha ha ha!
Yahh!
Hey hey hey hey hey!
l got to be strong and share the little what me have
Ah wish you good, so why you want to wish me bad?
Why is it you boast? why is it you brag?
Feed the youth and give thanks unto Jah
'Cause somehow Jah-Jah jus' keep on blessing this place
Somehow RasTafari jus' keep on showing us his love and his grace
Somehow RasTafari jus' keep on showing us his face
Somehow The Most High...Most High keep defending the faith
When I'm cruising through or moving through
I consider the little children need clothes and shoes
I consider the little children need education and food
'Cause l've got the strength, and I've got the vibes
I've got my children and my beautiful wife
Ey! life is for love, life is for living
The blessing from above is so much, so I keep giving
Jah created the Heaven and the Earth, so enjoy it
And don't you destroy it, whoa-yeah......

Sizzla Kalonji (real name Miguel Orlando Collins) is a Jamaican reggae musician. He was born on 17 April 1976, in St Mary, Jamaica, of devout Rastafari parents and raised in August Town. He is unusually prolific, even by Jamaican standards. Sizzla has worked with such artists as Mobb Deep.

Sizzla, along with reggae recording artists such as Capleton, Buju Banton, and Anthony B, are credited with leading a movement toward a re-embracement of Rastafarian values in contemporary reggae music by recording material which is concerned primarily with spirituality, social consciousness, explores common themes, such as Babylon's corrupting influence, the disenfranchisement of ghetto youth, oppression of the black nation and Sizzla's abiding faith in Jah and resistance against perceived agents of oppression. Sizzla has over 40 full completed albums sold in record stores to date, the most popular which have been "Black Woman & Child" and "Da Real Thing" on the Digital B label, "Praise Ye Jah" on Xterminator, and "Rise to the Occasion" on Greensleeves.

Recently, however, he has come under fire for the homophobic content of many of his lyrics, and the advocacy of violence against gays.
