Someone Else's Clothes Lyrics

Check out some memories I don't recognize
Another country and another life
Oh oh oh, oh oh ohI find, I'm strolling on a distant shore
To meet someone I've never seen before
Oh oh oh, oh oh ohOh oh oh, oh oh oh, ohI'm wearing someone else's clothes again
Walking in the streets I know again
Back in the old familiar glow again
I'm wearing someone else's clothesPainting quiet pictures in my ear
We're driving past without a wish to steer
Oh oh oh, oh oh ohDriving underneath the deep blue sea
I'm always surfacing in summer sheets
Oh oh oh, oh oh ohOh oh oh, oh oh oh, ohI'm wearing someone else's clothes again
Walking in the streets I know again
Back in the old familiar glow again
I'm wearing someone else's clothesI'm wearing someone else's clothes again
Walking in the streets I know again
Back in the old familiar glow again
I'm wearing someone else's clothesTransfer me into a Saturday crowd

Or merge me back into a factory town
Oh oh oh, oh oh ohI'm opened up for such a splendid move
I'm making love with someone, I don't know who
Oh oh oh, oh oh ohOh oh oh, oh oh oh, ohI'm wearing someone else's clothes again
Walking in the streets I know again
Back in the old familiar glow again
I'm wearing someone else's clothes

Ultravox (formerly Ultravox!) are one of the primary exponents of the British electronic pop music movement of the early 1980s. The band was particularly associated with the new romantic movement, although it both pre- and post-dated New Romantic by several years, drawing inspiration variously from punk, the artier side of glam rock and latterly straightforward synth pop. The band was formed in 1973 in London, United Kingdom on the initiative of vocalist, songwriter and keyboardist John Foxx (born Dennis Leigh).
