Someone to Hold Lyrics

Get ready 'cause I, I know it will knock you over
I said someone that I left back in '99
There ain't no bounds to a rising star, he told me
You will know, you will know when it's your timeSee, I wasn't around when my dad started his music
But he must've known I come 'cause he laid it out for me
So one of my dreams was just make it big and prove it
You will know, you will know when I'll succeedAnd he said oh, the songs in my head, all around the world
I dance, I sing, and I fall in love again
But all that I want is someone to hold
So I drink, I play, and I party every day
But all that I want is someone to hold
On top of the world everybody looks up to see me
I said I got all the riches the money can buy
You see the cards and the videos with the ladies
But you don't know those girls always say goodbyeAnd he said oh, the songs in my head, I hear them every day
I dance, I sing, and I fall in love again
But all that I want is someone to hold
So I drink, I play, and I party every day

But all that I want is someone to holdI got a feeling that the ladies wanna plot just making babies
And they don't wanna hear no maybe
And I don't wanna be alone tonight
I got a feeling that the ladies wanna plot just making babies
And they don't wanna hear no maybe
And I don't wanna be alone tonightFree myself
And I dance, I sing, I'd do most anything
But all that I want is someone to hold
Someone to hold, someone to hold
Someone to hold, someone to hold
