Somethin' Stupid (Ft. Nicole Kidman) Lyrics

I know I stand in line
Until you think
You have the time
To spend an evening with meAnd if we go
Someplace to dance
I know that
There's a chance
You won't be
Leaving with meThen afterwards
We drop into
A quiet little place
And have a drink or twoAnd then I go
And spoil it all
By saying something stupid
Like I love youI can see it in your eyes
That you despise
The same old lines
You heard the night beforeAnd though it's

Just a line to you
For me it's true
And never seemed
So right beforeI practice every day
To find some
Clever lines to say
To make the meaning
Come trueBut then I think
I'll wait until the
Evening gets late
And I'm alone with youThe time is right
Your perfume
Fills my head
The stars get red
And oh, the night's so blueAnd then I go
And spoil it all
By saying something stupid
Like I love you
I love you

Robert Peter Williams (born 13 February 1974, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire) is an English singer, songwriter, and record producer. While Williams' early pop career started with the hit boy band Take That, he has found far greater success since taking his leave in 1995. Williams has sold over 70 million records worldwide, which ranks him among the best-selling music artists worldwide. He is the best-selling British solo artist in the United Kingdom and the best selling non-Latino artist in Latin America.

Six of his albums are among the top 100 biggest-selling albums in the United Kingdom. He has also been honoured with seventeen BRIT Awards—more than any other artist—and seven ECHO Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted as the "Greatest Artist of the 1990s."

The Candy Songfacts reports that Williams teamed up with his Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, to write the first single from his ninth studio album, Take The Crown. "Candy" will be released October 29, 2012.
